Dave Trotter discusses the music industry and the internet:
New Release of our Collection “Noise Cloud” Exclusively with Pacifica Music
Studio 51 Music is pleased to announce our newest collection of music for film, TV, and video games. Noise Cloud is exclusively distributed by Pacifica Music, www.pacificamusic.com.
We have delivered the first 15 CDs which are currently online, and the planned roll out date for the entire collection of more than 2,000 titles is between February 15th and June 15th. We expect to increase the Noise Cloud collection monthly by up to 400 titles after the initial phases.
The Noise Cloud Collection will be identified by its unique editor’s toolbox approach to broadcast, background, and source music. Studio 51 Music has always taken this approach. Each title will have a full version of the work, an underscore version, plus :60, :30, :15 bumpers, and a floating stinger which allows editors the option of ending each piece on a tight time mark. Many titles will also feature a Solo version of the lead, a rhythm (bass and percussion) version, and alternate instrumentation version, as well as a promo version. Each breakout stem is timed for easy stacking for custom versions of the original piece.
Studio 51 Music continues to be a substantial contributor to the Harpo Sounds Music Library, a division of Harpo Productions, for their programming needs. Our music is heard daily on their programming, as well as the new OWN Network.
We are forecasting at least 25,000 needledrops per year on all client programming in 2011.
